Our 2011 Lynn Smith Chevrolet Memorial Day Car Show turned out to be one of our best. We had almost 200 classic cars, trucks, and motorcycles registered for the show. Others brought their vehicles out just for people to look at and admire. It was a very warm day, however the tents covering the parking lot allowed everyone to be in the shade. There were 45 trophies and plaques given out. Most of the winners were voted on by those who entered the show. I had the difficult task of selecting the Lynn Smith Choice, Best Truck, 1st and 2nd Place Most Patriotic, and Work in Progress awards. At exactly 3:00 PM everyone stopped for a moment of silence to honor all those who have served or are currently our country in the armed services. I would like to thank all of those who participated in the show. We look forward to seeing everyone on Labor Day for our next Car Show here at Lynn Smith Chevrolet your local Chevy and used car dealer in Burleson!
